Yep. Thanks. Had a blackout this morning.
For some reason it didn't seem to work right away the first
time I tried. Maybe I was using the wron device or what.

I found that /tmp is writable though and the presence of the doc.tmp there
seems to be a relict of the sysinstall fired off at CD boot.
