Just because MB A works for Mr B doesnt mean that you wont have problems unless you mirror his setup and conditions. Some MBs crap out under extreme conditions. Some of fickle about power. Intel MBs have problems with stray interrupts (or so say the people in power at freebsd), and they dont take AMD processors so you may not like them. You have to do your homework and buy from someone who will take it back if you have problems. There is no "certainty" with MBS.
