Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi there ... On AIX systems, one can install volume groups which binds 2/more hdd as a single volume. Meaning that, say 2 9Gig SCSI hdd, can function as one volume with different file systems. Think of it as the sys: and data: volumes in Netware. Can this config be done by fbsd 2.x or 3? Having 2/3 9Gig hdd and the OS will see it as different devices, but the same file system like /usr/local, can span over more that one hdd.
