However, artsd-based sound form kde skips. Playback with noatun, the inbuilt sound player (the startup jingle) skips. I've tried using the sound buffer at both extremes, to no affect. I've tried turning off the hardware sample rate autodetect, to no effect. This is definitely a KDE/artsd issue, however - non-arts playback is fine.
