Greetings. I just upgraded from perl-5.8.9_7 to perl-5.16.2_1. I built = from ports and used the USE_PERL and SITECUSTOMIZE config options. I want to remove perl-5.8.9_7 from my system. However: # sudo pkg_delete perl-5.8.9_7 pkg_delete: package 'perl-5.8.9_7' is required by these other packages and may not be deinstalled: autoconf-2.68 help2man-1.40.5 majordomo-1.94.5_6 mhonarc-2.6.18_1 mirror-2.9_1 openwebmail-2.53_2 p5-CGI-SpeedyCGI-2.22_7 p5-Digest-MD5-2.51 p5-IO-Socket-SSL-1.74 p5-Locale-gettext-1.05_3 p5-MIME-Base64-3.13 p5-Mail-Tools-2.08 p5-Net-SSLeay-1.48 p5-Text-Iconv-1.7 p5-TimeDate-1.20,1 p5-XML-Parser-2.41 pure-ftpd-1.0.35 texi2html-1.82,1 autoconf-2.69 ap22-mod_wsgi-2.8_2 apache-2.2.22_6 automake-1.12.3 p5-Mail-Tools-2.12 p5-MIME-Tools-5.504,2 What do I need to do next in order to get rid of the old and unsafe = Perl? --Paul Hoffman=
