https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D254332 Bug ID: 254332 Summary: net/wireguard: Unable to modify interface: Invalid argument Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: decke@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd@xtaz.uk Flags: maintainer-feedback?(decke@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: decke@FreeBSD.org Running 13.0-RC2 with the 1.0.20210315 version I see the following when the service tries to start. Downgrading back to 1.0.20210223 solves the problem. [#] ifconfig wg create name wg0 [#] wg setconf wg0 /dev/stdin Unable to modify interface: Invalid argument [#] ifconfig wg0 destroy I can see from PR 254328 that this apparently works on 12.2 so this is prob= ably something specific to 13.0 and I guess related to the 9c811e0f2d87b84388d1a3b78865384940b30e10 commit from the wireguard-tools repository.
