Edit /etc/make.conf. > > I think Chris assumed that Marc knows this.. ;-) Actually, after I sent this out, I continued my searching and found it in the ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk file ... stuff like the work directory and DESTDIR ... should this be added, commented out, to /etc/defaults/make.conf?
