Are you using the > cable supplied by Iomega? Does it work with the DOS 'guest' driver? OK. Here's something possibly a little more useful. Below is boot -v output for all three BIOS parallel modes available on my machine; ECP, PS/2-compatible, and AT-compatible (they all returned the same thing). This is only for the ZIP parallel. I'll have to wait until I get home to test the ZIP+ with Nicolas Souchu's patches. ppc: parallel port found at 0x378 ppc0: ECP SPP ECP+EPP SPP ppc0 at 0x378 irq 7 on isa ppc0: SMC-like chipset (ECP/EPP/PS2/NIBBLE) in COMPATIBLE mode ppb: probing devices on ppbus 0... ppb_1284_negociate: status=0x78 0 ppb: ppb_1284_negociate()=35 ppb: ppb_1284_terminate()=35 -- Christopher Nielsen Scient: The Art and Science of Electronic Business cnielsen@scient.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
