I performed cvsup today with the following cvsup file: root@www: /etc# cat cvsup.src.ports *default host=3Dcvsup6.FreeBSD.org *default base=3D/usr *default prefix=3D/usr *default release=3Dcvs *default tag=3DRELENG_4 *default delete use-rel-suffix src-all *default tag=3D. ports-all After a "make buildworld -DNOPERL" (from the /usr/src/UDATING file), all looks fine for a few lines, then these errors (nothing is cut between the first error and the endpoint). cc -O -pipe -Wall -I. -I/usr/src/usr.bin/colldef/../../lib/libc/locale -DCOLLATE_DEBUG -c parse.c /usr/src/usr.bin/colldef/parse.y: In function `main': /usr/src/usr.bin/colldef/parse.y:245: warning: implicit declaration of function `strlcpy' cc -O -pipe -Wall -I. -I/usr/src/usr.bin/colldef/../../lib/libc/locale -DCOLLATE_DEBUG -c scan.c /usr/src/usr.bin/colldef/scan.l:638: warning: `yyunput' defined but not used cc -O -pipe -Wall -I. -I/usr/src/usr.bin/colldef/../../lib/libc/locale -DCOLLATE_DEBUG -static -o colldef parse.o scan.o -ll parse.o: In function `main': parse.o(.text+0x5d): undefined reference to `strlcpy' *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. I thought that it may be a problem with the sources, so I re-did the cvsup. Still no help. I went back to the freebsd website, and found a couple of tips on upgrading, but everything I found produced the same end result. I am having some other trouble on this server with perl, and I wanted to go ahead an upgrade here, thinking that perhaps this would upgrade some older libs and perhaps help to take care of the perl problem. I will detail the problem with perl if needed, but I will want to upgrade anyway. Any advice on what to try here? -- Butch Evans 573-293-2638 BPS Networks PO BOX 550 114 W Main Bernie, MO 63822 ------=_NextPart_000_0006_01C197C7.434A1860 Content-Type: application/ms-tnef; name="winmail.dat" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="winmail.dat" eJ8+IhYEAQaQCAAEAAAAAAABAAEAAQeQBgAIAAAA5AQAAAAAAADoAAEIgAcAGAAAAElQTS5NaWNy b3NvZnQgTWFpbC5Ob3RlADEIAQ2ABAACAAAAAgACAAEGAAcAAQAAAAAAAAEGgAMADgAAANIHAQAH ABYABAAAAAEA/AABA5AGAKgJAAApAAAACwACAAEAAAALACMAAAAAAAMAJgAAAAAACwApAAAAAAAC ATEAAQAAABgAAAAAAAAA2V3w0nXl1RGVSADQWS/jxSRlLAADADYAAAAAAB4AcAABAAAAIgAAAE1h a2UgcHJvYmxlbSAodXBncmFkZSB0byAtU1RBQkxFKQAAAAIBcQABAAAAFgAAAAHBl/lSvKIzJDED thHWlUgA0Fkv48UAAAIBHQwBAAAAHQAAAFNNVFA6QkVWQU5TQEJQU1RFTEVQSE9ORS5DT00AAAAA CwABDgAAAABAAAYOAHhngPmXwQECAQoOAQAAABgAAAAAAAAA2V3w0nXl1RGVSADQWS/jxcKAAAAD ABQOAAAAAAsAHw4BAAAAAgEJEAEAAABYBQAAVAUAAGMJAABMWkZ1UXbYyAMACgByY3BnMTI14jID Q3RleAVBAQMB9/8KgAKkA+QHEwKAD/MAUARWPwhVB7IRJQ5RAwECAGNo4QrAc2V0MgYABsMRJfYz BEYTtzASLBEzCO8J97Y7GB8OMDURIgxgYwBQMwsJAWQzNhZQC6YgSQIgE+B2ZSAzLjEALVJFTEVB U0VYIG5vB+AAcGQeUG1QIHRyeQuAZx7Ab6QgdQ4AcmEBAC4KorcKhAqAHPBwBJACEHIHgDEegGN2 cx9wHzFkYaR5IAPwdGgewGgdQL0CEGwXsAPwHxEhdGYDEAxlOh/0A2BvdEB3kSTAOiAvFCBjIyFg BmEFQCFzLnNyYy4qcBfBcx/0KgEBYXWGbAVAHQBvc3Q9IXMINi5GCdFCU0QuJQWwZyauYmEUED0v tnUmECaucBggI8B4Kl9/J2IYICPgKiIhcSauAZBnwj0dok5HXzQmrgEAryPgDrAfYBQQLS1RLSGQ 7wEgK+Af+iYRLQdAGAAmvN8vAh/lJlMzCB/6QQGAEoEoYSAiAMBrHUBidRkDEGR3BbA3oCAtRABO T1BFUkwiIC4oA1IicywSLyYRL1UwREFUSS+AI7MpLMseUCLgIBewb2sEICPAVm4iojbSZgfRbDuR c986wCKBA6AigRQQIASQA2B/FAA4sB4gIlAfAgQAIWB1tQVAYhQgdwnhInRpFADfBUA9kx5TIoIJ 8GQmUAuATHQpH+sf9GNjOBBPXTgQcAUgHUA4EFc64i2cSS5D4TlnLCEuYguAji8XkTegARAvLi5F 0v08cGJGMjnQF7AlcCPgOBEQQ09MTDoQRV9E2EVCVTpQSDEtQtAKsX0UEC4A4CADRF9FZkikeQUk 8EkDoGZ1bmN0smkCICBgAMALgCckBaNJf0qOMjQ1JPB3CsD/AwAfECTwB3ALUA3gIkAwsc5jC2Af oEwDb2ZLuSfA8zfgDfB5J0JvQ39NX0Wff0avR70E8ABwSP9VPljzbBA6NjM4T2lgeXn1S9BwPtAn MLE7gh6AN3D/BUA+ETEiCzFS31PvWg9WD/9XH0fYOBAnwFEBXuEfUGF1/0iVH1BY8x9QOBAzJmXF S38TTIhlxSguDrIrMHj4NWQpJPBoIF02K7EEkF0J8GMdQB9BUi0qbSAgbkVAMwWgAQAgGvMgNlP/ H0Al8GzPbd9u72//cQ9yH89zLyAaIlAIYGdoNBET4H8FQFBxAMAiED8ANuEroG/tAmBlHrAiN3MI YWvQPLHHegAc4RggLWRpQKQltP8ngHPAAxADIB4gHQAtYHvSzxzwPzACMCoBY2sfMiKDeQnRYnMe gD8wfoAiQGX/OsEecQIQasE24QWgH3BjIftRYWhQcAQgTCEfdB8BOsD9XbJlHTAe4D40HPB/lHjx /mQa0CFBecMeoEDjLUEhkP8nYB/tHqEdER8CegCEQT4h/xKBHtAIYHkhgPI+MQQgFBDucoIxIiQg 0Wx/NH0RAHDXDrBAoR9QZx9QYSKQH7C/HlEfZnyRGCA8wguAax8D/3fyINET4IDRiAM3wCdQHoD/ izaGpGGhBcBiUQQgHmKM9v98on3DNzIlcBgggHMikYkS/3jmfOR8MgEAAZADEZGzeQrfkfMGkB4Q CeABAGSBxJLlV4nSHzkeUXlPgHl74UG7l5AeUGSGUGvRTCF3d/KXfdIe4IujPx/6LS0f9G5CPtAT 0HSgdgBxH/Q14DczLTI5nHFbsZrlflAF8AfAPyAFsDtQH/RQ4V8QQk9YIBpgAUAgA+AxMTQgVwXQ C3Ka9LcEkQiQOsBNXxBbsTIOUAtBvx/0faMgAwCSEAAAAAACARQ6AQAAABAAAAALJDOitgPWEZVI ANBZL+PFAwDeP59OAAADAAlZAQAAAAMAQGUAAAAACwATgAggBgAAAAAAwAAAAAAAAEYAAAAAA4UA AAAAAAADABWACCAGAAAAAADAAAAAAAAARgAAAAAQhQAAAAAAAAMAG4AIIAYAAAAAAMAAAAAAAABG AAAAAFKFAACPkwEAHgBsgAggBgAAAAAAwAAAAAAAAEYAAAAAVIUAAAEAAAAFAAAAMTAuMAAAAAAL AHCACCAGAAAAAADAAAAAAAAARgAAAACChQAAAQAAAAsAcYAIIAYAAAAAAMAAAAAAAABGAAAAAA6F AAAAAAAAAwBzgAggBgAAAAAAwAAAAAAAAEYAAAAAGIUAAAAAAAALAHSACCAGAAAAAADAAAAAAAAA RgAAAAAGhQAAAAAAAAMAdYAIIAYAAAAAAMAAAAAAAABGAAAAAAGFAAAAAAAAAgH4DwEAAAAQAAAA 2V3w0nXl1RGVSADQWS/jxQIB+g8BAAAAEAAAANld8NJ15dURlUgA0Fkv48UCAfsPAQAAAH4AAAAA AAAAOKG7EAXlEBqhuwgAKypWwgAAbXNwc3QuZGxsAAAAAABOSVRB+b+4AQCqADfZbgAAAEM6XFdJ TkRPV1NcTG9jYWwgU2V0dGluZ3NcQXBwbGljYXRpb24gRGF0YVxNaWNyb3NvZnRcT3V0bG9va1xP dXRsb29rLnBzdAAAAAMA/g8FAAAAAwANNP03AgACARQ0AQAAABAAAABOSVRB+b+4AQCqADfZbgAA AgF/AAEAAAAxAAAAMDAwMDAwMDBEOTVERjBEMjc1RTVENTExOTU0ODAwRDA1OTJGRTNDNUU0NjUy QzAwAAAAAAMABhCd8/0sAwAHEOQFAAADABAQAAAAAAMAERAAAAAAHgAIEAEAAABlAAAASUhBVkUz MS1SRUxFQVNFTk9XQU5EQU1UUllJTkdUT1VQR1JBREVJUEVSRk9STUVEQ1ZTVVBUT0RBWVdJVEhU SEVGT0xMT1dJTkdDVlNVUEZJTEU6Uk9PVEBXV1c6L0VUQyNDQQAAAADNow== ------=_NextPart_000_0006_01C197C7.434A1860-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
