I'm thinking of buying a Wireless Media Presenter to control a FreeBSD laptop using a projector (beamer) to do a BSD presentation (talk). ( a little USB receiver stick, + [2.4 GHz] wireless remote control usually with inbuilt hand pointed (not computer steered !) laser). Presenters have different functionalities, & some have eg "Volume level ! & Black control" that may not be supported on FreeBSD ? Any comments / experience ? Here's a few devices as examples: http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/gear/details/EUR/EN,crid=29,contentid=730 Vendor to jes@ @ 30 pounds sterling: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=Labtec%20%20presenter&doy=15m12&source=15 http://www.sweex.com/IA001 22 Pounds Sterling in postage, Vendors: http://www.redstore.com/SWEMIC028 http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NOV-MEDIA http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/DE/DE,CRID=2000,CONTENTID=9893 80 Euro.
