My system currently is running Windows 98 and NT and I have always used System Commander as my boot loader. I would like to install FreeBSD on this system (it has some stuff that my other BSD boxes don't) but I have never done multi boot with BSD. If you choose to install a standard MBR will it put that on the same disk that BSD is installed to (or give you a choice) or does it default to 0,0,1 on the active disk? I couldn't find anything in the man pages or in the handbook that could help me so any sugestions would be welcome. (also if there is documentation I missed please let me know so I can review it) Thank You Gene Dinkey 970.278.8732 Hewlett Packard Customer Care Center Technical Computing Division To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
