Hi, I am trying to write a web front end for some applications. One of the major things it needs to do is run pw, which is only usable by root. Of course, a web page isn't root unless Apache is root, which I don't really want to do. Is there any way for me to give my script root privileges just for the time that it does pw? Or is there _any_ other way around this? Thanks again! Roman -- Roman Katsnelson <-- Unix/NT Sys.Admin. Graphnet, Inc. <-- HQ at Teaneck http://www.wait.org <-- and in the mean time...
