My Disk-setup may be a bit unusual, though. I have 2 scsi-disks and one ide disk. Setup as follows: Bios Drive no.| Type | Content 0 | SCSI | Windows 1 | SCSI | (mixed) 2 | IDE | FreeBSD When I currently boot, i get BootEasy from Drive 0, where i press F3 for disk 2. There i get the old FreeBSD-loader on which i boot with: 2:wd(0,a)/kernel which works like a charm so far. Now, if I boot 2:wd(0,a)/boot/loader I get to the new loder. Here i do: set currdev=disk3s1a: load /kernel boot which boots the kernel, and panics with 'cannot mount root'. What else do I have to change ? CU, Sec -- I don't have anything against penguins, as long as they stay in the Antarctica, swim around, catch fishes and do the usual penguin stuff.
