As I remember, 'make world' on -CURRENT is treated as enough test for 
-current changes, not 'make world' from 3.0 or from 4.0.  We have special 
people who's area is upgrade issues and they must SOLVE such sort of 
conflicts, and not BACKING OUT changes.

Please solve them somehow without backing out changes without a purpose 
related to changes itself.

Wrong. Mtree becomes compatible to old way back as designed. See mtree history.
