The issue is currently assigned to Alexey (danfe@) so the ball is in his court. If he doesn't have the time to address it, or request the changes from you that he mentioned were needed, then he may also (and you may also ask that he) re-assign the issue for someone else to take. Traditionally speaking, there is a 2 week timeout that applies to maintainers, but in this (new port) case, Alexey is just the assignee not the maintainer. Our primary goal is to get all issues 'assigned as quickly as possible, but that they will be handled after that by that person. The expectation from them is that once they take an issue, they complete it within a 'reasonable' amount of time. There have however been many cases where committers have assigned themselves an issue, and then not made progress. In these cases it's best if they unassign themselves so someone else can pick it up to resolve. I hope that clarifies things -- Regards, Kubilay Bugmeister
