https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D224859 Bug ID: 224859 Summary: dns/bind911 tuning=3Dlarge - minor update with major result Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: mat@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd@dns-lab.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(mat@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: mat@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 189360 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D189360&action= =3Dedit bind911 tuning=3Dlarge The Bind port is not having a option for large tuning: https://kb.isc.org/article/AA-01314/0 Below patch add's this option. I've used it several times on amd64 with 16 cores, and the difference when processing millions of zones is huge. So I hope it could be added. I've also used the same addition at bind912 (but it's EOL is much sooner). --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
