I've downloaded Postgres95 and tried to compile it. It won't compile "out of the box" I've defined BSD44_derived properly in the Makefile.global, patched the ar parameters in order to let it build the archive properly, but I still have errors when linking postgres. So, my question is : Is there someone on the list with experience on compiling Postgres95 on a 2.1R box ? Thanks in advance. P.S. I've checked in the list's archives and I've found some olds postings (june 95) about Postgres. Maybe somebody remembers an interesting detail... -- ============================================================================== marcos@eig.unige.ch | PGP Key available on request | marcosf@ezinfo.vmsmail.ethz.ch | | ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PGP 2.6.2 FingerPrint : B2 56 6E 00 FF 33 E1 3B C5 25 63 F0 9A A9 AB 42 ==============================================================================
