hi,

i am trying to install freebsd v 2.1.5 but have had a problem:


the system starts booting
.......
starts probing
.......
finds 274X scsi
find hd
finds cdrom
.......

various things not found

mcd0:timeout getting status

various things not found again

then

panic ahc0: brkadrint, Illegal Host Access at seqaddr = 0x0


i have looked through the hardware questions and answers but am no wiser.

we do not have the newsgroups here but i'm trying to get them
from elsewhere.

can you help?
