Maybe a different architecture helps a lot. I don't have the idea that the MySQL guys understand much of databases. InterBase is free these days. I tried to run version 6, but I missed some libraries so I gave up, have to retry one of these days. You can try it yourself, or try Oracle or so, just to see what happens. Groetjes, Berend.
