 Just to help track this down - remember I reported it in 2.1.5-STABLE
in late Sept. after a change to aic7xxx code.   Perhaps it's obvious
from the diff's.  I scanned through them, but I'm not at all familiar
with the stuff, so nothing stood out.

 I'm going to try 2.1.5-RELEASE to make sure I don't have a coincedental
hardware problem.

 If there's anything I can do to help; don't hesitate to ask.
