Hi! I have FreeBSD 2.2.6-RELEASE (cvsupped as of today) - FreeBSD 2.2.6-STABLE FreeBSD 2.2.6-STABLE #0: Wed Jun 10 16:59:04 CEST 1998 - running among other things a NFS server. When running heavy load on it from another box (2.2.5-RELEASE) the network interface dies. To be exact I'm trying to upgrade the other box via make installworld over NFS. It works for a while, and then boom, the network interface on the nfs server dies. Reboot is only way out. This worked flawlessly on 2.2.5-RELEASE. Any help would be appreachiated! Hardware: iPPro200 256MB ram, Adaptec SCSI controller onboard IDE controller (The NFS share is on a IDE drive) 3com Etherlink III 509B To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
