First symptom is that ntpdate takes forever to complete. But the clincher is that 'traceroute 194.134.5.5' wants to go through the default route of 212.187.0.39. Another thing is that the message "attempts to modify permanent arp entry for 194.134.128.1 on ep1" gets repeated ad infinitum. I do think it has something to do with aliased IP addresses. After all, it will only work when the default route is the first, thus true, IP addres. Make it the aliased one and stuff starts, of fails, to happen.
