So I've just added clsung@ to http://wiki.freebsd.org/Ruby and thus the 
team.

He had/has an auto-assigner in gnats-aa for ruby-* and maintains 
*several* ruby related ports.

I might even suggest he send them to ruby@ but thats up to him and 
others here.
