We have the IDE controllers, same size/geometry hard drives (although I think mine is identified as IBM and yours WD...but I've read elsewhere they are in fact the same drive). The only other difference I recall was that your laptop has a different CD-ROM drive. But I'm trying to work off memory here; I can verify the similarity when I get home (where the laptop is).
