It's not needed to produce professional music or video sound. My RME
card provides 192 KHz, but I never tested it.

Please, can you give an example, when there will be an audible
difference between 192 KHz and < 192 KHz?

If possible everything should be supported. FWIW I'll test FreeBSD,
because I'm missing features of my RME HDSPe AIO on Linux [1]. For
producing music, other features are more important, than 192 KHz are.
