What Brett is doing is pointing us at the dictionary definition of distrbution: CheapBytes and WC may not be the same distribution, because they were not distributed in the same way. Different distributions of the same version, then. This is redefinition for the sake of it, or procrastination -- in French: enculage de mouche, in Danish: flyknepperi.
