Message-ID: <19991004004709.K35757@daemon.ninth-circle.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 1.0pre3i Organisation: Ninth-Circle Enterprises Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org OK, So I wanted to upgrade my docproj stuff since I there were some problems with the old install I had. I pkg_deleted all of teTeX, jadetex and everything else. Installed the latest of docbook, dsssl, teTeX-1.06 but when I know try to make jadetex I get: ===> Building for jadetex-2.3 tex jadetex.ins This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.1) I can't find the format file `tex.fmt'! *** Error code 1 Now I remember having this problem before and a search in the jadetex work directory yields nothing. If I locate tex.fmt I get this: /usr/local/share/texmf/web2c/tex.fmt But when I now look in that directory it is not there anymore. If there a preferred way of installing docproj because it appears to be a very weird routine. I think I did quite the right maneuvers in order to install it correctly. For information: I started with every single docbook, docbook-xml, iso*, lynx, tidy, dsssl, html, dtd-catalogs, teTeX, jadetex [which busts], docproj with JADETEX = yes [which also bombs]. Advice is very much appreciated. -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven/Asmodai asmodai(at)wxs.nl The BSD Programmer's Documentation Project Network/Security Specialist BSD: Technical excellence at its best Fame is the perfume of heroic deeds.
