Excellent! You da man!

After downloading the lib32 distribution set and installing, I was
immediately able to both execute ldd on 32-binaries (no more
"/usr/bin/ldd32: No such file or directory" error) and also execute the
32-bit binaries themselves.

Although, there was one issue (perhaps a by-product of installing lib32
after-the-fact) in that the compatibility libraries installed by
compat5x-amd64 were not automatically picked up and I had to re-run
`ldconfig -32 /usr/local/lib32/compat' to get it to pick up this one
shared library that I needed.
