I have a Realport 10/100 ethernet/56k modem plugged in at the moment, using this pccard.conf entry: ------- # Xircom Realport card + modem card "Xircom" "16-bit Ethernet + Modem 56" config 0x27 "xe0" 9 insert /sbin/ifconfig $device [my ip] insert /sbin/route add default [my default route] remove /sbin/ifconfig xe0 delete ------- Note that this is for the ethernet interface only, although I believe the modem can be made to work also. There's a whole bunch of info at http://ukug.uk.freebsd.org/~scott/xe_drv/ Regards, Nick. --- From a Sun Microsystems bug report (#4102680): "Workaround: don't pound on the mouse like a wild monkey." > Has anyone got a working pccard.conf entry for the Xircom CEM56? > > I have been trying the different configs and am getting nowhere. > > Thank you! > Woody > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
