Yes, PC-BSD users often have issues like this.

Another common cause is not having updated libtool according to
ports/UPDATING - namely still having files left from libtool15.

The archives of this list have all these answers already, so it's
useful to consult the archives and say what solutions you already
tried, if any, to resolve the problem.  Lastly (and often forgotten)
follow up when you fix the problem.
