Everything under contrib is third-party code with minimal modifications, if any. That README file contains information on how to run those tests with the test framework used by the upstream vendor. If you want to know how to run them with Kyua, you're first going to have to port them to TAP or ATF and hook them up to the build (under lib/libexpat).
