you can go both paths. Take a look at the freebsd Handbook
especially pre-installation path

there should be other documents on the homepage dealing with your
problem.

Hi all:

I am a newbie of freebsd, I am wondering if I can get some help in here?

I alreadly have red hat linux 7.0 on my machine, and I would like to install
both window 2000 and freebsd 4.x on my machine, what's the best way to do this?

Should I wiped out my linux and install window 2000 first?

or can I just install freebsd and windows on my machine?
