Dear Sirs, Just for curious, today I was looking for the date/entry that belongs to FreeBSD 8.4-RELEASE inside UPDATING file, with no luck. Maybe I've made a mistake and I was looking inside a wrong file/url? It doesn't appear, neither http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base/release/8.4.0/UPDATING?revision=251259&view=markup (RELEASE branch) nor http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base/releng/8.4/UPDATING?view=markup&pathrev=254632 (RELENG branch, currently last revision). (This 'little detail' includes sources for 8.4-RELEASE and branch 8.4-RELEASE-p3, which I've downloaded recently). A quick & dirty search I've did on a 8.4-RELEASE-p3 box: grep "8\..*-RELEASE" /usr/src/UPDATING (There is no reference for '8.4') Thanks in advance! Regards, Pablo Carboni
