Hello here,

Thanks for your help on the sendmail issue (relying). I created the hosts-allow file and now it works.
Today I noticed a problem with nslookup though. Eventhough the DNS seems to be resovling names just fine,
when I run nslookup I get strange results. On nslookup, if I type

#nslookup
>cyber-planet.net.mx

I get

*** server1.cyber-planet.net.mx cannot find cyber-planet.net.mx***

But if I type

>cyber-planet.net.mx. (with a trailing dot)

It works just fine. That is, if I include the trailing dot when I do the lookup, it works, otherwise it does not.

Now if I type
>set debug

and do a
>cyber-planet.net.mx (no trailing dot)

It first finds the name just fine, but looks like it tries a second time, only this time
looking for cyber-planet.net.mx.cyber-planet.net.mx. and of course it fails.

Now if I type

>set type=any

and do a

>cyber-planet.net.mx (no trailing dot)

it works just fine.

I checked for sintax errors on the PTR record but everything seems to be ok.

Any clues?

Thanks for your input.
