I think that Oracle uses IBM's jdk 1.1.8, so my patches may not help you. I wasted a morning trying to get 1.1.8 to work & got confused by some x86'isms which I don't understand (I'm mainly an alpha programmer). Since 1.1.8 is not in my critical path, I probably won't spend any more time on it.
