Also i used it in ASPlinux 7.2 and Linux Mandrake 9.1 (russian) and it worked very good. So what should i do. if it is possible please write as detailly as possible because i know FreeBSD badly (i use it for about 3 weeks) This boot error message general means that your floppy drive is broken. When was the last time you used it? Try to verify that it's in working order by booting an MS/Window system on that PC, or swap that floppy drive with one from some other PC that you can test works first. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org]On Behalf Of Алексей Дмитриевич Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2004 8:28 AM To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: FreeBSD support Hello Support, I have a problem my floppy drive does not want to work. when my FreeBSD 5.1 boots I have a message fdc0: cmd 3 faild at out byte 1 of 3 and cannot reserve I/O port range (6 port) After logining I cannot use my floppy drive- there is no device file.
