If you have I586_CPU (I think?) defined in the kernel config file (as it
is in GENERIC) and you have a true Pentium class CPU then FreeBSD will
detect it as such. What you see above is the hardware architecture you are
running on. Pentiums are based on the Intel 386 architecture (anything
earlier is unsupported.) If you were running this on a DEC Alpha (I
suppose) it would say alpha.
