Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> has asked freebsd-gnome (Nobody) <gnome@FreeBSD.org> for maintainer-feedback: Bug 273757: net/geoclue: update to 2.7.1 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D273757 --- Description --- - Update to 2.7.1 (also tested and running 2.7.0) - Pass maintainership to desktop@ (as others freedesktop.org projects) - Set DEMO option by default DEMO option provides an agent, if it is missing, the "org.freedesktop.GeoCl= ue2 service" is not running! I have tested with nimbus (an application for the Pantheon desktop) which displays weather, if agent is not present, application stucks in loading cy= cle (and displays nothing). In the past, elementary OS upstream provides their own agent (pantheon-agent-geoclue2), but it is now deprecated.
