With gallatin's libiberty/xmalloc.c patch it is possible to build a gdb that will at least minimally run but is unable to read any symbols. Presumably this error message points to a reason: Dwarf Error: Cannot handle DW_FORM_strp in DWARF reader. -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber naddy@mips.inka.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
