I currently have FreeBSD 2.2.7, I want to get support for the 3c905B ethernet card, so I decided that I would build a kernel from current. I used cvsup to grab current from cvsup3.freebsd.org. I compiled config, and ran config on the new GENERIC (I grabbed all of the source). When I run make I get the error message: cc1: Invalid option `-fformat-extensions' I am using gcc version 2.7.2.1, I tried looking for the -fformat-extensions param in the make files, but I could not find it. gmake's version is 3.76.1 How would one solve the error?
