I'm sorry Ed, I'm still confused here.  I can't even 
make the port because of the "forbidden" message on 
apache_1.3.12.  Are you compiling apache as a stand-
alone port or as part of apache13-php3?

I don't have a port called mod_php3 or mod_php4 under
/usr/ports/www.  Isn't mod_phpX a configure option
for apache?
