It returns the same result as ls -la I checked my two unix books and this command is not listed. Is it an undocumented command or just a fluke? And I had been have a problem with the backspace key just giving control characters instead of deleting the text it should be going over, and I found the command tset which is a toggle to turn on or off the backspace-delete function. What a differance that makes!
