I currently am using FreeBSD 4.4. I get: sis0: port 0xdc000-0xa0ff mem 0xe6000000-0xe6000fff irq 12 at device 3.0 on pci0 sis0: Ethernet address: 00:00:00:00:00:00 sis0: MII without any PHY! device_probe_and_attach: sis0 attach returned 6 Using FBSD 4.6 RC 4 gets the MAC, but still "sis0: MII without any PHY!" This chipset is used in a lot of boards, from ECS, Gigabyte GA-8SIML MATSONIC MS-9317E etc! A regular Intel NIC works fine, but as this design is for a 1U, I require all on board!
