Also make sure you are in DOS. not just a dos box, or having quit windows to dos. use ados 6.2 floppy to boot to dos. format the floppy, and ensure there are NO bad sectors. then try fdimage again. the file size doesn't really matter, cause your not "copying" the file onto the disk. you are writing an image of the boot.flp file to the disk. rawrite worked for me when I had the same problem. I followed the directions for using=20 'fdimage.exe' to make my boot floppy to install FreeBSD.
 
The 'boot.flp' file is 1.47m under = DOS and=20 'fdimage.exe' just keeps returning an error message "source file = too=20 big"
 
Please help (or tell me a better way = to install=20 FreeBSD), I have TCP/IP to the net over a T1..
