SUPed -current, uhm, two days ago i think. did a make buildworld at that time. then yesterday evening i had a chance to reboot my machine so i did make installworld (as well as a new kernel with some options i wanted that i forgot to put in) rebooted, tried to log in and couldn't. not as root, not as my regular user. wanted to track it down but didn't have the time to, just needed my box to work. all i had to do was boot into single user mode and use passwd to set the passwords again. somebody should look at wednesdays' snapshot (unless this is known and fixed) and see why a make installworld would bash passwords. or maybe look at the 14th's snapshot, ah, whatever, in a rush, gotta go. keep up the good work. -current rocks. -wonko To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
