            Bug ID: 262492
Summary: Update resolv.conf(5) "not necessary" language
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Keywords: needs-patch
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Manual Pages
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: pauamma@gundo.com
                CC: doc@FreeBSD.org

"On a normally configured system this file should not be necessary. The only
name server to be queried will be on the local machine, [...]" needs "or
automatically configured using DHCP or a similar mechanism" to cover client
computers.

I'm opening this for language discussion and scope; I will submit something=
 on
Phabricator when there's consensus on those points or I get tired of waitin=
g.

(Should this get MFC'd? I can't ask that using flags.)
