I thought the first "clean" and "cleandepend" in === cd ${.CURDIR}/usr.bin/make && \ ${IBMAKE} -I${.CURDIR}/share/mk ${OBJDIR} clean cleandepend depend && \ ${IBMAKE} -I${.CURDIR}/share/mk ${MK_FLAGS} all install clean cleandepend === will delete anything that's left behind but I haven't tried building world on a system with an old (i.e., pre-newworldpatch) /usr/obj so I could very well be wrong.
