--T6xhMxlHU34Bk0ad Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable [ portmgr@ hat on ] Given the schedule at: http://www.FreeBSD.org/internal/releng45.html The Ports Manager Team is providing advance notice that we will freeze the ports tree on Tuesday January 22, 2002, in preparation for the final package build for 4.5-RELEASE. Please get all your changes in the tree by then. The usual procedure will follow: 1) CVSROOT/avail locks out everyone but the person who does the tagging. 2) Approx 2 hour period where tagging for RELEASE_4_5_0 is performed on the tree. 3) ports/ tree will be re-opened for commits, but commits made after tagging will not go in 4.5-RELEASE.
