All the documentation that I read (man carp and other web based sources) indicate to simply create my carp interface as follows: ifconfig carp0 create However when I run this... I get the following error: # ifconfig carp0 create ifconfig: SIOCIFCREATE: Invalid argument # Any thoughts or comments that can steer me in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious... here's my dmesg.boot # cat /var/run/dmesg.boot Copyright (c) 1992-2005 The FreeBSD Project.
