Then I have not seen this problem on my -CURRENT machine or on my -STABLE
machines (3 of them).  What type of keyboard is it?  How do you have it
configured in XF86Config?  Have you tried copying
/usr/X11R6/etc/gdm/factory-gdm.conf to /usr/X11R6/etc/gdm.conf, and see
if that helps?
